THE ROUTE OPTIONS HAVE BEEN RELEASED.
AS YOU KNOW THE ROUTE OPTIONS HAVE BEEN RELEASED. The green route will impact on residents in West Footscray dramatically. As a group we believe that this is not the best use of the money. But out of the three options the extended tunnel or aqua option is the one that effects the least amount of people/residents. We also do not believe that Dempster/Sredna St Upgrade is necessary as Market St is a better alternative with no house acquisitions.!

The building of the tunnel and associated roads WILL have an impact on the lives of all living and working near the proposed roads; whether directly through acquisition of your home, or pylons in your backyard or noise and airborne pollution. Long term building works of this unsustainable project will impact on many people throughout the affected areas.
The project is NOT just a tunnel; it will include massive above-ground sections and on-roads cutting through parts of West Footscray, Tottenham and Sunshine West - it's just question of where the tunnel exits, how much of the overpass passes through, or near, your property.
